Helikon’s tour in May
From the 18th of 23rd of May 2010 “Helikon-Opera” troupe with “Gershwin-Gala” and “Kalinka-Opera” performances participated in annual festival “White Nights of Karelia”, which took place in Petrozavodsk. Right after coming back from Karelia soloists of the theatre went to Tallinn, where the gala-concert, devoted to the opening of the Days of Moscow Culture, took place on stage of “Estonia” National theatre.

"Unknown Tchaikovsky" in "Helikon-Opera"
On the 6th and 7th of May "Unknown Tchaikovsky", devoted to 170 anniversary since composer's birthday. The program consisted of rarely perfromed or unknown works. A part of them was orchestrated by Tchaikovsky, part was restored and orchestrated by Taneev and part of Constantin Chudovsky, specially for the concert.

Norma Fantini and "Helikon-Opera" in co-joint project in Moscow International House of Music
On the 27th of May the concert version of "Norma" by V. Bellini will be presented on stage of Svetlanovsky Hall of Moscow International House of Music. The soloists, choir and orchestra of "Helikon-Opera" will take part in the perfomance. The title part will be sang by the world's famous Italian singer Norma Fantini under the baton of Vladimir Ponkin. This is the third and the last planned performance of the "Helikon-Opera invites" season-ticket, a joint project of "Helikon-Opera" and the House of Music.

The festive celebrations have began on the 9th of April with the general meeting of the troupe. The artists performed the scene from the Grand Final from G. Verdi's "Aida". Artistic Director of the theatre Dmitry Bertman opened the meeting with the welcome speech.
